Children's Ministry tends to the heart and soul of Congregation Beth Hallel. Starting with newborns in the nursery and lasting through the middle school years, our children are wrapped in love, encouragement and faith. They learn how to deepen their faith in Yeshua and are provided a safe place to ask questions. Our children are encouraged to serve others and share their faith to family, neighbors and the entire Metro Atlanta area. Congregation Beth Hallel is excited to welcome the entire family to thrive and grow at our congregation in Roswell. Nursery : Ages 0-3 years
We love babies! The newborn to 3 year olds are welcome in our nursery the entire service. Every parent is assigned a code and can be silently notified during the service if he/she is needed. An area for nursing mothers is also available.
Toddler Program: 2-3 years
This group has ENERGY! During our Friday and Saturday service, 2 and 3 year olds play alongside their peers. Drop off for this class begins in the nursery at the beginning of service.
Torah Tots: Ages 4-6 years
This Saturday-only Shabbat class is for children ages 4-6 years old. The children will grow from an age-appropriate and well-rounded Messianic Jewish curriculum. The class includes prayer, learning the alef-bet letters and sounds, a Bible story, a movement activity, a craft and worship. Torah Tots start in the service with their families and are dismissed by Rabbi Kevin.
Kids' Congregation: Ages 4-8 years
This Friday-only Shabbat class is for children ages 4-8 years old. The children will grow from an age-appropriate and well-rounded Messianic Jewish curriculum. Club Maccabee: Ages 7-9 years
This Saturday-only Shabbat class is for children ages 7-9 years old. During class, students recite Hatikvah (Israel’s national anthem), pray as a class, practice Hebrew, learn about Jewish history and traditions and also have an interactive Scripture study. Did we mention the games? We do not meet on the 1st Shabbat of each month (Torah Walk) or if there is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Club Maccabee children start in the service with their families and are dismissed by Rabbi Kevin.
Warriors for Messiah: Ages 10-13 years
Warriors, assemble. All 10-13 year olds are invited to come and learn more about what it means to be a prayer warrior! Through interactive lessons and activities, the children will learn about the importance of prayer, what it means to talk to G-d and how they can put their faith into action through prayer. This team of warriors will meet quarterly during service on Shabbat. Come be a “Warrior for Messiah!”
Tuesday Night Scripture Study:
Ages Pre-K through College
Everyone needs to recharge during the week! Our weekly Scripture study meets every Tuesday at 7pm except the last Tuesday of each month. There are classes with specifically chosen curriculum for every age group. Teachers participate in frequent trainings throughout the year to best understand the varying and changing needs of children. We can't wait to see you soon!
